Menu Bar

A typical menu bar contains the following items. The actual items on your dashboard menu bar may vary. From any screen within Harmony, you can access the menu bar items.

Item Description
Customer Care Harmony can help you track service provided to your customers. Customer Care allows you to document and track all interaction with your customers, including complaints, requests, comments, or suggestions. Use this feature when interacting on the phone, at the office, through email, or at the customer’s location. You can generate and update customer contact events from the Customer Care tab within the Customer menu, but those would only apply to the specific account or location that you are working with at that time. If My Water Advisor (in addition to Harmony) was purchased, you can manage an end user's account information through the My Water Advisor portal. For additional information, see the My Water Advisor documentation.
Meters This item opens the Meter Reading menus to the Meter Search page. Use the left-hand menus to find information related to meter readings, or to perform a Meter Search on the default page.
GIS Geographic Information System (GIS) allows you to view your system on maps. Items displayed include meters, pending work orders, infrastructure items such as valves and hydrants, and leak groups. Selecting the GIS menu will open a map of your district. You can select and drag to move the map, or to see different details, zoom in or out. Also see Using GIS.
Work Orders Selecting Work Orders allows you to view pending, open, and recently completed work orders on the map. From the Work Orders menu, you can view current and historical work orders as well as create new work orders and run reports based on them.
Fixed Network This item opens the Fixed Network module, where there are many options for direct communication with a meter. Also see Working with Fixed-Network Functions.
Administrative This item opens the Administrative module. On the Administrative module, you can configure administrative options such as Company, Company Defaults, Import/Export Interfaces, Service Types, and System Parameters.
